Dear Niantic, 400 candies for Gyarados is too much

I have got 3000 candies during this event and have almost 9000 candies total they need to increase candies for all pokemon!!!!
I have between 500 to 1000 candies for most others.
Sorry bro but I heard in gen 4 there will be some that take 1200.

Apart from that, no one is gonna make a game molded exclusively to your desire. Millions of people play PoGo in the world, and we're happy enough. Please, stop whining.

Its really not. Seems like it the first time, but next thing you know you have thousands of karp candy and no idea what to do with them.

I've evolved 9 in the 11 months I've been playing. 5 are powered up and 1 is maxed out and I still have over 2K karp candy.

Its all relative.

Have you ever tried evolving Magikarp into Gyarados in the first-generation console games?

Gyarados was 400 candy before Pinap berries were introduced. It should be lifted to 700 candy. Make that 1000, considering you can get high-level Magicarps from raids now. Hold on, before TMs only one out of three was good. 3000 candy seems like a fair number now.

I returned to the game with 112 Magikarp candy back in February. I now have 3 Gyarados, powered 2 of them up to level 30+ and currently have roughly 1500 Magikarp candy and I play fairly casually. It’s not hard.

You could also ask Niantic to increase the spawn rate of Gyarados directly. Like swap the spawn rate of Gyarados and Magikarp.

I just looked and I could evolve 12 Gyarados just by using candy acquired during this event...
