power up or level up priority
So I took a roughly 2 year hiatus when the game first launched and im now wondering if I need to focus on getting my solid IV meta pokemon leveled up or getting 3/6 of them evolved before powering them up. I have a team of machamps, only 2 of them solid and I caught a solid machok so ill be evolving him, but I only have 2 golems and 2 ok gengars so Im lookng at what my priority should be

Definitely evolve first. You may not like the moveset, in which case you may not want to invest anymore candy/stardust. Frankly, though, i wouldnt worry about leveling anything up initially. Just try to catch a few high CP pokemon (eg makuhita) with weather boost and evolve those first. You’ll get an effective team pretty quickly and at minimal cost. After that you can start accumulating and leveling any high iv versions as you get them. Could be a long process.
