In the past two days I've opened about 20 gifts and got only one A-egg. Is this just bad RNG or they changed the egg rate on gifts?

Definite RNG. Over the weekend I received eggs seemingly for 9 out of 10 gifts opened.

Forgive my obvious question, but do you have free space in your eggs inventory when you open? I get a 7km egg nearly 100% of the times I open a gift.

Yes, I have 4 free slots and I'm struggling to get normal eggs in PokeStops too.

Do you also have room in your pokemon inventory? Eggs count towards your pokemon limit so if you are at your max then you can not get another egg.

We must all be taking your eggs. Been getting eggs 95% of the time from both stops and gifts

It's all "R"NG. I left 20 gifts unopened for the start of the event, and of the 20 eggs I got 3 Eggs. Then the next day I got 9 Alolan eggs in the first 10 gifts I opened.

I also got a Tangela and Porygon in the first batch of 3, then a Farfetch'd, then all Alolan for the next 10, and in the last 10 I've gotten 2 Kangaskhan and 2 Mr. Mime. And now I'm looking at having opened another 18 gifts today and getting only 2 eggs.

It's all "R"NG.

Are Tangela and Porygon still in the 7ks? I ask because at 36 eggs in I've yet to hatch either of them. It's likely all RNG, just an oddity in my case.

Dunno bout Tangela & Porygon but the latest 7km I hatched contained a friggin Diglett! No sign yet of any regionals, rest of mine contained the Alolans, 2 vulpix mind so not too bad thus far....

A regular Diglett or Alolan? Because A-Diglett has been in there for a pretty long time now.

I haven't gotten a Tangela or Porygon since that first group. I HOPE they're out of the eggs - I've caught 5 Tangela in the Wild and 2 Porygons (and ignored another 2 Porygons because they weren't weather boosted), and I haven't been grinding at all - I only go out of my way to find Chansey and maybe - MAYBE - Lapras. (Got a soft spot for the Princess Leia Turtle, but not enough to pull over when driving to catch one.)
