Healing items from gifts

Only 1 super potion and 1 revive from 20 gifts. What happened? I hope it’s just RNG.

Personally I would just be happy if gifts only contained balls/dust/eggs, but I get that a lot of people rely on the healing items. Haven't seen any mentions elsewhere and don't remember getting any less healing items than normal doing last night's gift opening.

I saw your numbers, I understand that you will probably burn a lot of them fighting gyms. Still, wouldn't you also get a decent amount of them from spinning stops as well since you play in a city? Whenever I go to the city centrum to grind I end up trashing dozens of healing items just from the spins.

I literally use up every healing item that I get from spinning gyms. Gifts are the only reason why I have surplus now (but still no need to trash).

I’m planning to challenge myself to take a vanilla badge to gold as fast as possible. It’s actually barely out of sight from my house in the in-game map. I don’t even know why it’s still vanilla, when I have gold at another gym 50m away from it. And I can see myself burning the entire stockpile of healing items for this challenge.

Fighting is definitely the best if you want to go as fast as possible, probably best to get a good stock before you start and have plenty of throwaway attackers to burn through as well. I wish you luck.

The majority of players would be very happy if gifts were giving out less healing items.

I don't mind healing items from gifts or stops. But I want them completely gone from raid rewards. That should be limited to Gold Razz, Silver Pinaps, RC and TM's. And we need specific move TM's for rewards too while we're at it.

Oh right, raid rewards. I need those GRBs too. And rare candies.
But I would be really pissed off if they nerf healing items from gifts AND remove them from raid rewards.

Nothing is worse than doing a T3 solo or a T4 duo and getting a handful of revives and 20 orange potions. It happens far too often

Not seeing a problem.

It’s gives you less of what you need. I finished a raid before coming home. Had 4 mons needing revives. I have max revives but no regular. There’s a stop at my home. I spun almost every 5 minutes but at least 8x an hour for 4 hours. No regular revives. Finally decided to use max revives. After they were all revived, next spin got a revive. Plus 2 more out of the next 5 spins
