Ultra bonus raids
Going off the increase in kanto pokemon the ultra bonus event will bring, I think its fair to assuming that a fair number of kanto raids will come back. Raids like Mawile and Absol I know will remain due to them only being raid obtainable, but as for the other raids, what do you guys think they'll do? I'm hoping if they do anything, they keep tyranitar, but what about the lower level raids? (and before someone says why should they matter when mewtwo's out, that is a good point but some of those raids can still be useful if you dont have a full mewtwo trio team ready)

Absol and Mawile got yanked for the last Kanto event. They'll likely be pulled again for this one. Tyranitar got pulled for the last Kanto event but I could see him staying in with the introduction of Mewtwo. Odds are he'll be pulled as well until October.
I want to see Gengar and/or Alakazam come back. I've found Gengar battles to be pretty fun and fast paced if it's not packing Focus Blast and I never successfully soloed an Alakazam. I can see some of the fan favorite bosses returning like Snorlax and Lapras, those two had a fair bit of staying power after the first boss shuffle. I really hope we see the evolved forms of the starters over their base counterparts. And for the love of god I hope Onix stays the hell away. It's a boring fight with little payoff.
There's always the "what if?" if they ever reintroduce them and keep evolution as a requirement that probably has some people keeping them. Frankly I wish I evolved more Bulbasaur but the weather was against me and I found very few passable IV ones. I agree though, beyond hypothetical scenarios we may never see again there's little reason to keep them.
They have an incentive to rerun the exclusive moves at some point. As time goes on, the amount of returning or new players who missed those events grows, generating interest in some kind of a rerun and interest is what drives the CDs and makes them profitable.
The only downside is reducing the value of the first run CDs, so they just need to delay the reruns sufficiently to make missing the first run enough of a big deal that nobody wants to if they can help it.
It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when. Most mobile games rerun popular old stuff because it's profitable.
