Will moltres with sky attack now be a better Tangela counter than one with overheat?

Yes, Sky Attack is one of the best moves in the game and now there's a Pokemon with the Atk. stat and STAB to do it justice.

Not just that, but FS/SA Moltres is the highest raw DPS Tangela counter, period. (Followed by FS/OH Moltres)

In most weather conditions, yes. In Sunny/Clear, the Overheat version is better.

At a glance, SA Moltres looks to be a viable contributor against Tangela even if the Moltres is only at level 25. Spending only your earned candy could end up benefitting some players, especially against Sludge Bomb Tangela

No doubt! I have powered up my ADS 151415 SA Moltres to lv 30 and cannot wait to see its performance in a Tangela solo.

Moltres with Sky Attack (if I had one) would be just behind my perfect Espeon(!) in raw DPS for Machamp raids. It's pretty much a sub for anything!

I just use two SA Moltres (lv 30 and lv 25) to lead the team, followed by a perfect maxed Espeon and iv 96 maxed Alakazam, and put a Hurricane maxed Dragonite as the second last (no matter what the 6th is it doesn't matter). I used to include 2 Alakazam and 2 Dragonite in my team.

I used to have a double Psychic lv 30 Mewtwo in my Machamp team recently, but on Moltres day I got it into Shadow Ball with just-acquired CTM.
