Can you 'trade back' a Lucky Pokemon?

Hi all

If I trade a pokemon which becomes lucky with my other half, can I re-trade it back to me (so that I end up with my original pokemon, but now it's lucky)?

Basically me and my other half have a couple of old Pokemon each which we kept because we liked them. And now we wondered if we could make these lucky, but without losing them from our own collections?

By the way, neither of us have any lucky pokemon as it stands.

Advice much appreciated. Thank you!

Nope! A pokemon can only be traded once. That's part of what makes them 'Lucky', the fact that they can only ever be one person's Lucky pokemon.

...or you could trade them and swap accounts entirely. xD

It is possible that in the future they will allow re-trading, most likely with a time limit (for example, one trade per year or per six months, for a given pokemon. And that's the kind of rule that they wouldn't roll out immediately with trading, but might implement down the line. Not sure what will happen to lucky status on a next trade.

We traded in this way to get what we wanted:

Old Magikarp - Magikarp
Old Rattata - Mewtwo
Mewtwo - old Pidgey

Now we both have lucky Gyarados and lucky Mewtwo.
Transferred Ratatta and Pidgey since we didn't really want those and it kept our number under 10 for other stuff we want from each other. It just takes 2 trades instead of 1 but as long the other has what you want, then it's fine.
