12 Rarecandy....

I just did one moltres raid, and got 12 rarecandy from a single raid (6 from all the remaining but one, which gave 9). I'm legit shocked that you can get 12 Rarecandy form a single raid, what s the highest number of RC you've ever gotten from a single raid?

In theory you could get up to 24.
Raid rewards come in bundles. In legendary raids you can get up to 8 bundles, depending on the number of premier balls that you earn. These bundles are independent, and each will contain 3 rare candies with approx. 18%

12 is my largest count. Never see more recently.

I've personally scored 15 and I've seen someone else get 18. Like FlegmonXL said, 24 is the theoretical maximum but it's incredibly unlikely and getting more than 9 is quite rare already. The average is like 4 if you get maximum bundles.

Close to a year ago I got 4 CTMs and I believe 6 rare candy against 1 Raikou. Pretty sure didn’t control the gym and maybe barely won the team damage. Guess I can check archives bc seems like a huge/almost impossible reward (maybe 3 rare candy?)

Are you serious? You got 6 from every raid, except a 9 and a 12??

I ended up doing 16 raids, I only got 6 four times, got none three times, and got 3 for the rest. I averaged 11-12 balls per raid.

Yeah, it was unbeleiveable. I'd been in a massive RC drought, guess the RNG was finally with me, averaged 13 throws, we did a group of 6, all at friend levels between good and great

To clarify, when I said 11-12 I meant excluding the 2 friendship balls, as I believe those don't count towards reward bundles...

So we basically had the same number of bundles, but I averaged 3 rare candy per raid and you averaged over 6. Lucky you.

I lucked out on Charged TMs (got 8 or 9) at least. Was a pretty dry Rare candy haul for me though - I've been on a drought lately too. Always duo with my GF and she has gotten >= my rare candy on every raid for about 3 weeks now, despite same number of balls.
