iv reroll at max friendship

I have been out of the game since trading came out. Have people reached max friendship yet ?
If yes do we now know how iv rerolls when trading with someone at max friendship ? Can it still go down ? Will it only go up ?
If no how do iv rerolls work at highest frienship level reached so far ?

Not yet. I think that there is still 14 days left to reach best friend status if you didn't miss a single interaction.

We've known IV floor for a while 5/5/5. Yes, it still can go down.
However if you get a lucky pokemon it will be 12/12/12 floor, which is huge.

To look at the floor buff in another light, the odds of getting a 100% luckymon jumped from 1/216 to 1/64, over three times as likely.

Traded 10 pokemon yesterday and got 8 of them lucky they ranged from 2016 to 2017 the oldest being from December 2017. Each one was over 12 for each stat which is pretty sweet.

The friendship system had a bug for the first week that caused only the first player to interact each day to earn a point. When they were fixing that bug, there was a brief period where instead of 1 point for the first interaction with a friend each day, every interaction together earned 1 point. There were people that saw this and made it to best friends. They determined that the IV floor for trades with best friends was 5/5/5.

(When the bug was fixed, everyone that was further ahead was reset back to the max number of days that friendship had been out at that point and when they made it back to higher friendship tiers they did not receive the exp again.)

...

There is also a chance for a trade to become "lucky" where both players will receive a lucky pokemon. For recently caught pokemon, it is about a 5-15% chance. (Anecdotally, some days are horrible and others much better.) Older pokemon have much better chances, with pokemon from 2016 being very likely. Lucky pokemon have an IV floor of 12/12/12 (recently bumped up from 10/10/10) and cost half as much stardust to power up.

With the update yesterday, if you have less than 10 lucky pokemon and you trade a pokemon from July or August 2016, then you are guaranteed a lucky trade. This is a good way for returning players to catch up with some strong attackers that are cheaper to power up.
