Umbreon/Espeon/candy task
Hi,
I already have 2 Eevees I walked the 10 km in order to evolve them as UMbreon/Espeon... Do these 10 km count for the research tasks or I have to walk 2 more???

There was someone either here or on Silph Road that claimed they had prewalked an Eevee and when they got to that step and evolved that Eevee as their buddy they received credit for one of the walking candy. Someone else speculated that--if accurate--it might be because when you evolve a pokemon you do receive an extra candy for it. The research might be loosely programmed just to look for when you receive a candy from your buddy pokemon.
I forgot to test this to see if it actually happens when I was on this step. ... There is a field research currently that similarly looks for 1 buddy candy. If I remember next time I get that research, I should test if it works for the field research by switching to a different buddy and evolve it.
