What is your shiny breakdown?

Since so many of mine were from community days/other events it would be easier to list non-CD/event shinies.

- 3 Aron. One was during Adventure Week but I don't know if shiny odds were bumped for Aron during that
- Random Swablu
- Magikarp during this year's water event, but again I don't recall Magikarp odds being boosted for it.

I think everything else I have was either a Community Day or it was featured. I never got any of the shiny fossils, Roselia, water-type shinies including Kyogre, or Meditite.

34 shinies:

16 from community days (no Mareep or Charmander families) + 1 Pupitar my kids traded me for something of roughly equal value (I don't recall what).

2 from fighting event. 4 from fossil event. 2 Roselia from event + 1 from the day after. 2 Minun, 1 Plusle. (12 total)

3 from legendary rereleases (Articuno, Kyogre, Zapdos).

Wynaut + Murkrow make up the other 2. No Swablu, Magikarp, Wailmer etc.

Total 63 shiny
0 from raids
46 from community days (1 being perfect Bulbasaur)
13 from boosted spawn events (7 ghosts)(3 swablu, 3 plusle)

3 Magikarp outside of events (all from vacation)(desert/mountain biome)
1 Roselia last week (100iv)

Either I get way too lucky or get nothing

I had to make a spreadsheet to figure it all out (which was good since now I have the data all sorted out for later convenience). Currently my pokestorage holds 95 and my all-time caught shinies should be 149. Trashed a lot of shinies in June and had dig up my totals for each CD.

Definitely the norm for shinies is that most of them come from events that boost their rates one way or another. The normal odds for them are so low that when either a shiny species is boosted, the shiny rate is boosted or both, it shows. Activity also tends to go up especially during community days.

Shuppet was the only non-event related shiny wild catch (I believe togepi can only be hatched) and I got it today during the very rare foggy weather

My alt account has 9 total: 7 Eeevee from CD, a Magikarp which was also from Community day and a Absol from a raid, all in the space of 24 hours.

I had some very good luck recently and Eevee's CD reflects that.

I only catched 2 non event: swablu & shuppet

From raids I have terrible luck:
No absol, no Lugia, no Ho-oh, no Articuno, 1 trash Kyogre, 1 trash Zapdos and I did a lot of those all

CD u cant do anything wrong...I didnt catch a shiny with good IVs at a high level.

And this other events I wasnt lucky as well.
The one with the golden dog and golden heart fish is the only example. Dont know many who have them both.

And I could trade shiny Roselia and it got lucky (1st try)
