I only went out for 1hr15 (skipped first hour bc not boosted) and got 3 shiny 792cp level 35 (bad IVs) 440 and 215. Caught at least 10 over 800. One pokestop had two 860s at the same one lvl 34 and 35 (no other players around, was on bike). When I got to pokestop park, maybe 1 total was 800+. Caught some other eevee when they spawned in my house. While out riding/catching I started encountering and fleeing if not shiny or not 700+. Battery drains messing with 520s

I had the oddest of all community days so far. ZERO shiny Eevee during the Eevent. Not a single one out of 300+ encounters during the whole thing...
My wife caught 21 tho!
Yes, TWENTY ONE! Including the very first three she tapped on. And she kept this going throughout the event. She even got a second Shwablu, of which I still have none after 2122 encounters.
On the other hand, I got 3 Chansey and a Bagon from incense (?!) and a shiny Larvitar from an egg, so I guess that's cool.
Also got 5 King's Rocks from spinning stops, for some reason..
Then we had a few very rare spawns sprouting around: 3 Ralts, 2 Porygon, 3 Larvitar, and a Slakoth. Those aren't uncommon here, but to have them spawn within such a small time frame is very unusual. It wasn't even Partly Cloudy, just stupid Clear. Oh right, after a week of ingame Partly Cloudy weather, it just decided to turn Clear during the whole thing. No kidding, it was Partly Cloudy the hour before it started and turned to Cloudy after it was over. Bummer.
Also, about half an hour before the event ended, everyone went ham on everyone else's gyms for some reason. EVERY SINGLE GYM was under attack, no matter the color. We never found out why or who coordinated it (if it was coordinated at all) but within a few minutes everything went gray cause nobody was defending with twenty minutes left to get a shiny Eevee.
Maybe tomorrow I'll get lucky. Ha!
So how was your CD today? Found fewer or more event shinies than usual? Any rare spawns going on during the event time frame?

To be clear I got 3 shiny but a decent number of good cp/great level regular eevee. I need stardust bc started maxing more than I did at the start of the game. BUT have a phone issue with data this month.
Got a new home internet provider that doesn’t have a steady signal, so my phone, my wife’s and my toddler’s hijacking of them were off of WiFi for extended parts of the last 27 days. A few days to go and less than one GB to spare. I might drive to a Starbucks with a gym and two lured pokestops, you get the picture.
I usually want to get one shiny of the baby, so not really fishing for all eevee-lutions. It will be ok scaling this CD back.
Probably watch some golf this afternoon, too. Easier to say that in advance knowing there will be some offense/movement instead of someone just trying for pars to preserve a lead.
Found 5 shinies and a simple 98% (saving it for Glaceon).
Yesterday I found 6 shinies. So now I have these shinies:

Overall a pretty good catch at the local park, unlike past community days.
i'm in the same boat. i do not know how many Eevees i actually encountered. i had a bunch of them jump out of the ball and run away. but i do know how many i caught because we write down our Pokedex caught number before Community day starts and then after so we can compare.
I caught 227 Eeevees yesterday and i have exactly 0 shinies.
My wife caught 194 Eevees and 11 shinies.
My son caught 155 Eevees and 9 shinies.
