Just to make sure
You get espeon/umbreon by walking 10 k with an eevee as a buddy, getting 2 candies, and evolve during the day/night respectively while that eevee is your buddy. Does that still work if you walk the 10k, then switch buddies, then when you are going to evolve, set the eevee back as your buddy?

Thank you, I know it was on there, but I just wanted to make sure I was reading it right. I'm asking as I haven't used the name trick and im going to use it on my best .
I was super paranoid about the name trick because from what it sounded like, you only got one use of the name trick period, as in only one evolution of your choice so I didnt use any because I was preparing for glaceon, and by the time I heard you could do it once for all, I didnt need them anymore.
