Selling Mewtwo?
I was at my second ever EX-raid today and caught the bastard again but as the raid was over i overheard people with 10+ Mewtwos asking around if anyone wanted to buy one. Im not sure exactly how much he was charging but it seemed around 25 USD he would give you a mewtwo for any legendary you wanted to part with (i assume he took Regis).
It got me thinking about risking account but also if theres an actual market for Mewtwos :S What do you all think? Is it worth the risk? Was it a good price? Could this be interesting for next EX boss?

Glossing over that people like him are the reason trading has so many cost features (IV reroll, stardust, one special a day, etc.), buying Pokemon from another player like that is pants-shittingly stupid. Zero dollars is a good price, that guy is on the verge of having his kneecap privileges revoked.
It's probably just me but I see no reason that you can't buy or sell Pokemon. But then again I only played the card games from 98-02 which keeping cards in mint conditions improved your ability to buy and sell and a greater or lesser value. This was the first Pokemon Video Game i picked up "mostly for the nostalgic" and it's a much different world of opinions about the market than the card game. But Niantic can sell over priced items in the shop why can't we sell our Pokemon we worked our asses off for?
Buying and selling in-game anything has always been frowned upon and against ToS in any online game. This is mostly due to the technicality that we don't actually have "ownership" over any of said digital items. The TCG is a whole different ballpark.
As for Niantic selling digital items in the shop, that's simply because this is their business and that's one of the ways they make money. Very different compared to players selling their Mons.
For one thing I'm pretty sure buying/selling of Pokemon and accounts violates the terms of service.
Niantic running the in-game shop is different. You can get coins without spending money on the game, like you can get anything in the game without spending money. True that the gym system in place is more limiting than the prestige system of past, but free coins are still there to be gotten.
The difference is that you own(ed) the physical cards. You don't own anything on your POGO account, not even the tiniest bit. Niantic is just letting you use it, but its 100% their property and in the TOS they strictly forbid you to sell any of the digital assets related to your account. You can't sell what you don't own.
