Why Ultra Friends Still Charged 100 Dust?

I thought with ultra level friends the cost was only 8 stardust for normal trades. When my Ultra wife and I trade, we are still being charged 100 stardust per trade (75 during event). Is this what everyone else is seeing? Thanks.

Yes, the discount is only for special trades.

IMO a better question: do trades go toward your catch count?

I know they count towards the tiny rat and big karp badge. They don't count for catch a X quests though.

I just checked, trades count toward your meaningless overall catch number (whether it currently be 30,001; 40,001; or 50,001). On that check I ended my 0/29 unlucky streak, I now have a 545cp lucky taillow with a good appraisal, 15a/12/14. Too bad the Swellow got brave bird, though

The collector medal is actually a fairly good indicator of activity when comparing players of the same or similar areas. It's also a decent indicator of ability to have fully powered squads of attackers, a level 40 player with 10k catches isn't going to have the stardust to do anything.

So, the table in the Friendship, Trading and Gifting Guide (and on other sites) is incorrect?

Yes. 100 for regular trade in every fdship level

100 dust regular ultra, now 75. I did my 1000th overall trade this morning and on the 1000th badge gaining trade I got a lucky 75% pidgey. However since that apex I've gone 0/22
