I used my supers during the candy event on 5k's so that I could get more eggs. My problem is that I go to so many stops and they won't drop eggs for me very often. I want to fill up my eggs with normals so that I can open up some gifts. I am a little tired of Alolan Meowths, sandshrews, and grimers.

Too many 5k eggs
I've been getting nothing but 5k eggs, and hatching them is going ot be a pain I know that people say to only use super incubators on 10k's but should I use them to try to clear egg space for 10k's?
Mostly because I look at it this way, super incubators are useless if you wait for 10k's, as im not going to get 12 10k's in any reasonably short amount of time before I get another set of super incs (have 8 super inubators, 4 with 1 use left, and 4 with 2 use left that ive had since the second to last event that offered 12 super incubators )

The first year of the game was hatching 2k eggs to clear out spots. Fighting gym towers for coins to get incubators to eliminate 5k eggs, then buying incubators with real money to hatch any 10k you might have spun. Then more times than not getting a pineco or Scyther. Sudowoodo. Skarmory. Pinsir. Kabuto. Omanyte. Aerodactyl. Yes, even an eevee, too. Also...there were no shinies!
Even then hatching is stil worth it, tyranitar raids are scarce, and more often than not, there are better raids to spend passes on than machamp (like the unhatchable kirlia, rare tyranitar raids, legendaries, alolan Exeggutor, and raid exclusive abso or raiding EX passable gymsl) not to mention theres a lot of pokemon like bagon and beldum that are super rare in the wild, so your only way of getting candy and good iv ones of them is by hatching
Feebas is a good pokemon to hatch, milotic is a good pokemon for defense and a good tank counter. Trapinch I agree isnt too good, but that increase was only for the weekend
It is more worth it to hatch than it seems, after all how else are you going to get that gym blocking blissey or good IV bagon?
