What Raids to target

Ive got an Ex raid coming up, but also there's Gen IV on the horizon, so im split. For tier 4's, I'm trying to prepare for the EX raid (and by extension get candy) by going out for Tyranitar raids, however with gen IV soon, that means Rhyperior's going to enter the arena.
Ive only got one dark type offense tyranitar (level 35), and I've gotten 2 or 3 good candidates for Rhyperior (assuming good moves are in its move pool and it doesnt get some kind of CD)

Tier 3's arent really of concern for me, they dont attract much attention and I dont have the pokemon to take down machamp solo even if I wanted to, Jolteon's going to become useless soon (I also couldnt solo it) with electavire and the soon zapdos Day and the other two arent much use

For teir 2's theres only electabuzz that im going for, and I dont bother raiding tier 1's and the regi's arent much value to me

What would be more beneficial? Trying to get more tyranitar and candy for it while this events going, or do for a possible Rthyperior (I dont have many ground or dark types)

Or do both, finding a balance between opportunity and need.

Thats the thing, I need both

I didnt get a groudon when it came out, so I have no ground types that are able to do much unless its sunny, and I am also somewhat worried they will remove tyranitar from the raid pool in gen IV

I wish I could ''target'' raids.

This is so true for me, I do any I can possibly do when I have the time, usually see em when I don't tho or none at all.

Mewtwo is easy. Woudn’t be suprised If you will only Use 1 Tyranitar and maybe 2 gengars/whatnot.

Also. Many People have tons of tyranitars on Extra accounts. Try transfer them and Hope to get a high IV one.

Unless they put Rhyperior into raids on release or require us to use a rather large amount of Rhyhorn candies, it's doubtful that you'll get one right away. Personally I go for Ttar raids over Rhydon but if you're wanting to find a balance, maybe try getting a few more good iv Ttar, when your Ttar amount (with good iv) match your potential Rhyperior cadidates, do another couple Rhydon raids? Just an idea, that's how i'd go about it but this method may not be for you! :D

Why are you still unable to solo Machamp? It can be done with level 30 non-legendaries, among which Espeon and Exeggutor are easy to acquire even for rural players.
