Tier 1-3 Raids should be spinnable Field Research

This is more of a band-aid to a horrible raid system, but how cool would it be if you could ''spin'' solo raids and do them whenever is convenient for you (no egg timer)? I think this would make Field Research much more interesting and of course be a huge boon to rural players or people who work raid hours and can't find raids.

Obviously if you spin a Raid that you can't handle or don't want delete it just like any other Field Task and search for more

Unless it told you the specific raid boss you wouldn't know what it was until you complete it and cash it in, at which point you can't delete it if it's too tough. Enjoy being level 29 and getting a T3 Jolteon raid with no means of defeating it, then having said research reward clog up your list forever. Hell, I'm level 38 and not properly equipped to handle a Jolteon solo, namely because I don't have 3+ beefed up MS/EQ Groudons.

Sounds like a shitty reward to be honest. "Congrats on completing x research, your reward is getting to use a bunch of heals!" Yes I realize it's impossible to run low on them now with the combined effort of gifts and research, doesn't make it any less of a bad idea.

You can do Groudon in Sunny with other counters. And in Cloudy Machamps are good enough. Or Rayquazas in windy.

Oh I'd make it so that the boss is revealed before clicking on the task. It would be deletable like any other task, and maybe have it disappear after, say, 3 attempts.

Those are all valid issues but easily remedied

Tier 5s they should let us choose to throw at a level 25 Walrein instead of a Regice.

I think a better idea would be to have tier 1 to 3 raids on every gym, randomised and selectable when u click on the gym, when u've done one it disappears. Leaving tiers 4 & 5 as they are would mean there would be more of them available at any given time. This would mean whatever your level, there would be a raid you could do on any gym & if u were going round in a group to hit the higher tiers, there wouldn't be the drought you get at certain times under the present system. It's a win win for all concerned, Niantic would sell more raid passes & we'd get to raid how we want, whatever time of day.

That would at least be a vast improvement over the current system. There's just far too many barriers to participating in a raid.

Articuno Day just proves how good the raid feature COULD be when the random barriers are taken out of the equation

Yeah, love the 3 hr raid timers, but don't like the fact it's again on a Saturday, I work Saturdays so sent my phone with my son which am hoping to do again this time. Some people have alot more time on their hands than others & the raid system needs to suit everyone. If you decide to go raiding when you have a spare hour or two, you should be able to do just that, not be frustrated yet again with either no decent raids around or sometimes even none at all. Tier 1 & 2 raids especially should not be taking up gym space as they are too easy & give crap rewards

Admittedly the T1 and T2 boss list could use some freshening up but they need to make the game accessible for low leveled players too. You can't honestly expect a Magikarp raid to give out the same rewards as a legendary raid.

I miss when they put 2nd stage starter evos as T1 bosses instead of turning that tier into the shiny filler roulette.

I don't expect low tier raids to give out those rewards but the majority of regular raiders are well above doing tier 1 & 2's yet they seem to spawn with more frequency. My idea above would solve all these problems

Nothing about the current raid system suggests that Niantic cares about accessibility.....I've never seen a videogame put so many hurdles in front of it's gameplay like Pokemon Go
