Best bet for Eevee day(s) exclusive move

It's pretty obvious that, short of evolution moves being dropped on us a week before release, this community day is going to be a repeat of Pikachu day.

AKA: a mild disappointment by comparison to pretty much any other day.

But one thing does intrigue me a bit: Eevee will learn its move on capture. On Pikachu this was a no-brainer: surfing pikachu has been a staple for generations. But what about Eevee? Despite being a popular mon, it really is only famous for what it becomes, not what it is. To make matters worse, there is no move really tied TO Eevee in the Pokemon lore.... Save one.

My prediction is that we will see Last Resort on Eevee. Why? Because in gen 7, that's the move that Eevee uses as a base for its exclusive Z-move: Extreme Evoboost. If I'm correct, when we're going to see an alusion to Z-moves in much the same way that we've seen mega evolutions referenced with things like Dragon Pulse Ampharos. It's my best guess at this point.

Would love to hear what you think we'll be getting, and how Niantic may make this day worth going out for.

Take Down, Double-Edge, and Last Resort all seem viable.

Just watch it be something so obscenely powerful that eevee becomes a new top generalist.

I can only see Eevee with last resort which is pretty much what you said, but I didn't know it was required to use Evoboost

Eevee with Last Resort, 300 damage 0.8 cooldown time two bar move but only on Eevee

I dont think they'll give eevee a move, pikechu's event is somewhat of a special case, its the mascot, and more importantly, its more or less a trial run for community days, it shouldn't be factored into expectations

that said, I think this event's going to be about glaceon and leafeon, gen IV's on the horizon, that teaser's kicked people into gear even more, and even on the guide for the event, it's listing those 2, its al but certain they'll be a part of it, and what better way to start the gen famous for evolutions that with the pokemon famous for its evolutions

So only the ones caught then can learn it?

Only Eevees will know it, not the evolved forms. It's the same as Pikachu CD, strictly for collection purposes.

I'm pretty sure it was because of the Pikachu and Eevee game

if it was for that I would have assumed they'd have done this earlier, back when it was announced

I don't think this community day for eevee is about exclusive moves. If so, why two days? I suppose it to be about the gen 4 evolutions of eevee, one day for glaceon and the other day for leafeon. You have to evolve eevee in the event to get these two mons.
