Has anyone else noticed a decreased number 9f revives recently? Raid seem to be dropping them less and stops as well. Not a problem for my account as getting plenty from gifts but my sons account is suffering (under 13 so can't get gifts), and he's having to power up mons to rebive them which is both expensive and only viable short term.
If the decrease is compensating for the gifts then it will make childrens accounts unplayable.

Should have lied about their age...I'm not sure if the number has decreased or not, but you can always file a complaint to make them aware of the issue. Niantic is horrible when it comes to any kind of insight or common sense.

It can be just a streak of bad luck. Haven't noticed anything myself but I trash a lot of revives.

Regardless of what's causing the shortage, there are a few things you can do to help. If more aren't dropping no matter what, your son should use more disposable attackers and learn to switch his attackers right before they faint. And of course prioritize spinning silver/gold gyms of his own color to maximize his chances of getting more.

That's good advice from the old days. Pokemon like Pidgeotto and Radicate can be caught/evolved at high levels, can put a dent in a gym, and be sent to the professor afterwards.

Yes. I used to keep a small army of 1k+ wild catches and evolves back then. A lot of fun trying to fight as best you can with subpar pokemon.

I use a lot of healing items for gold gym badge grinding. I haven’t noticed a decrease in drop rates at all.

I never trash any of them, I’ll find a way to use them if they’re taking up my bag space. I don’t think I’ve trashed even a single purple potion since Gen 2 release in early 2017!

Probably just RNG, you can spin more gyms if possible, they have a higher rate of revives.
