Gift eggs drying up?

Initially I would get them in almost every gift. Then past few days it was around 50%. Today I got 3 out of 15 gifts

I am wondering about something related.

Today I suddenly did not get more gifts from spinning. I do not know if I hit some sort of cap (after about 60-70 gifts, but did not get any messages about it), or bug or something. Others seemed to get gifts, but not me.

Not a single one for the last two hours playing (about 50 spins). Meanwhile I kept delivering my last gifts until I ran out.

Hope it will be back to normal tomorrow.

There is a cap for the number of gifts you can get from stops in a day and like many of the game's limits, there's no message notifying the trainer of hitting it.

They seem to have reduced the egg odds at the same time as they nerfed the item amounts in gifts, I've noticed lots of people talking about it this past week.

The good thing is, now you get less eggs AND the few eggs you get are rattata and meowth. So fun walking 7 km for a common rat, Niantic! It’s even low for Niantic, and that’s sayin somethin..

What they need to do is put rats and meowths and sandshrews in 3 k eggs (though, I think even THAT’S too much) and then keep grimer and vulpix in 7 km, especially since they’ve decreased the amount of eggs you get

Really agree here. 7km eggs are a punishment for not paying attention and opening a gift when you have an egg slot available... Meowth after meowth is garbage.

Aside from Vulpix (who I simply don't have yet), I'd never want a 7km Pokemon over ANY 5km Pokemon available - despite the 5km being easier to get and easier to hatch and the eggs everyone used to dislike...
