Is Corasonn the reward for Dortmund?

Corasonn is now available everywhere here. Is this the reward for the players who participated in this pain at Dortmund? If so this would be even more ridiculous, taking away some nice trades players could have made for those Corasonn they got in Dortmund since now everyone has Corasonn. AGAIN: Good Job Niantic...

It is a reward for those that live close enough to have attended, but for what ever reason didn't attend.

To answer properly (without my sarcasm), it was always intended to happen and has nothing to do with the difficulties people experienced at the event...it would have happened even if the event ran completely smoothly.

You mean Corsola?

Corasonn is the German name for Corsola. They are currently quite frequent here; I caught four yesterday and one today without even trying. "Here" for me is Berlin, which is 400 km away from Dortmund. Are these Corsola spawns a regional thing only? I had assumed that they would be worldwide.

I've been catching so many in Romania that now they're filling my bag (13 of them). I hope I can find them a home soon.

Sorry for the wrong name...Corsola of course...so at the end the players who did not attend the dortmund event get a reward and those who played through all this pain get nothing?
