In-game messaging via buddy pokémon

Now that in-game messaging is possible via your buddy's name, what do you think the best use is?
Like "raid@6pmMall" or something?
And obviously, use a Pidgey for messaging. :)

Thats clever, personally ive not seen people do that, mostly just put their perfect/high iv pokemon (Pokemon name followed by XYZ numbers)or something with a clever nickname up there, like my friend who put his red gyarados nicknamed "Red Sea Worm" and previously had Tyranitar100

Requires to check specifically your friend, and you're very limited in characters, so not very efficient. The location tagging is still very useful, let's keep that, we need it!

Nice catch with the messaging Pidgey ;)

On second thought, if you have a pokemon friend living far and you happen to travel there, a message like "comin2NYCSep12th" with a gift as notification could be useful as well! If this Pidgey messaging can be used to get in touch, advance to another more useful method of communication, set a meeting and trade regional pokemons, I say that's great!

I guess Kazlu mean including of your main location in your buddy's name. Useful for pilot medal

There needs to be an in-game raid map within a 25-30 mile radius of your current location. When you click on a raid egg from that map, it should show up in your friends list instead of the last pokemon caught thing.

I'd rather see what people are about to raid, rather than what they just caught

If you've moved on from exotic eggs, maybe alert local friends what you have available to trade. I have about 15 Heracross and also a shiny Roselia!
