Yes. Not only is it quite common in the wild, it's also arguably the least interesting Alolan Pokemon (atleast of the ones we've seen so far).
Since they added it to eggs, they might as well release Meowth, Vulpix, Grimer and Sandshrew into the wild.
It was bad enough getting Meowth from almost every egg, but to now get a handful of Rattata as well......hell no!
Walking 7 km for a Rattata is not fun.
