Alolan Rattata in Eggs?

Yes. Not only is it quite common in the wild, it's also arguably the least interesting Alolan Pokemon (atleast of the ones we've seen so far).
Since they added it to eggs, they might as well release Meowth, Vulpix, Grimer and Sandshrew into the wild.

It was bad enough getting Meowth from almost every egg, but to now get a handful of Rattata as well......hell no!

Walking 7 km for a Rattata is not fun.

Absolutely. I was using my stash of super incubators on these eggs until the rats were thrown into the mix. I'm not paying money to hatch a rat.

Pretty much not accepting gifts anymore when I have an empty egg slot.

I would ask "what were they thinking?'
...but that would suggest that someone with intelligence actually gave it some thought, and I find that hard to believe.

Who wants to walk 7kms for a Rat?
How many do you catch in the wild while you are walking the egg?

The number of Meowth is enough to put us off using incubators, but to add Rats just feels like someone is either taking the p&*# or they are testing what they can get away with.

Either way...that's enough for 7km eggs for me, and probably enough of using bought incubators on anything, for now.

We don't know yet whether the adding of Rattata impacted the likelihood of getting Vulpix, the grand prize. As long as Vulpix odds stay the same, I don't care what gets added to the mon pool.

Me too felt like I have wasted my money and effort just to hatch a 7km RAT! I was at least lucky to be able to trade of that rat since it is a gift from far-away land. Otherwise I would not want to spend on Super Incubator anymore on these 7km eggs.

Really? My first hatch was a Alohan vulpix then meowth then grimes then two sandshrews. Now all of them are fully evolved but I have never gotten rattata from an egg.
