We’re stuck. I was going to try the force sync with someone yesterday (send a gift for him to open) because I was supposed to reach Great Friend with him while he was stuck at 6 days. So we did a trade but I didn’t move up like I expected.
Then a little later, he suddenly caught up with me. So today, we did a trade, thinking we both would move to Great Friends. But nope. He did, but I’m still stuck at 1 more day. Been there for 3 days now. He’s now sent me a gift that I can’t open until tomorrow because of that stupid cap. We’ll see if me opening the gift will get me unstuck.
Because of the bug, only one player can gain points each day. This is the first player to perform a friendship action. The first to open a gift is obvious, but also the first to load into a trade, gym fight, or raid. If they are equal or ahead, they gain 1 point. If they are behind, they gain points equal to the difference, and do not make any overall friendship progress that day.
