Gift cap increased to 10?

I've always had 5 gifts at a time, and I just randomly went up to 10 after I spun some Pokestops. Did Niantic increase the gift cap?

Yes. To 10.

!0 is confirmed. 5 was just plain silly.

Equally silly as when we would set an alarm clock at 2am to collect 20 coins and 1000 stardust.

Those were the days, haha :)

100 coins and 5000 dust, LOL! I never set the alarm BTW, but would sometimes stay up late on weekends to "roll the clock"
