Working for the (cloudy) quad on Regice...

I have 9 C/DP Machamps at level 38 or above, 4 of those at 40 and the rest being worked on as I get the candy. I have 2 C/DP Hariyamas at 40. I have a 15/13/13 Hariyama, but he's down at 9, and I don't have the dust to bring him up with his brothers quickly. Same goes if I raided any Machamps - lack of dust, so there goes that idea. Any idea on that final spot if I don't have decent legendary fire types? Throw in my level 40 Flareon as filler?

Also, what's the difference between Machamp and Hariyama practically? Every time I've raided in a larger group (7 is standard local minimum) I haven't reached my Hariyama. I read through the guide, checked Calcy, and it looks like I should be able to do in cloudy as is, but there's a dearth of low-manning people here, and so I'll need to be sure to carry my weight as one of the four.

As it stands your team is likely overkill for cloudy weather. In neutral weather you'll probably fall a little short. I would also recomment becoming "friends" with any people willing to short trainer raids since we'll get damage bonuses as the friendship progresses. But here is a video of a regice quad in cloudy weather.

1 trainer 3xLv 40 machamp and 3xlv30ish (max-revives)
1 trainer 1Lv 40 moltres and 5 lv 40 machamp and gets dodge glitched (max revives)
1 trainer uses second team of fire types (moltres, entei, etc)
1 trainer takes 50s to rejoin with second team

still wins with over 30s to go (granted it's the easiest moveset)

You are good for cloudy weather, it all depend on your partner in raid.

I am not looking for time to win, beat the raid boss is enough for me regardless of time.
So my squad is weaker than you

I've done Blizzard and Earthquake, still looking on FocusBlast one

My main use 6 Machamp : 3 at 40, 2 around 38, one at 35
I am using battle parties so my for my 2nd i use Moltres and Entei at 37/38, 2 Flareon, 1 Charizard Blast Burn at level 35-37, and one flareon at 32

Both battles i just use Moltres and Entei, Flareon just show up before Regice fainted

My recently made 2nd acc at lv 34 just use 6 machamp all at level 36
Second team are 3 machamp, 3 hariyama mostly caught on wild at lv 35

Time to win at arond high 20's

Here the video if you want to see it

- same moves but Machamp has more attack 234 vs. 209
- Flareon is ok but Id rather put a Lvl. 30+ Machamp in it. (evolved cloudy weather catch with no investment). This might even be better than your 2 maxed Hariyamas.

7 doesnt have to be the minimum btw. Yesterday we were 6 and the others used auto selected Aggrons and Cloysters and we still did it. 4 good trainers are enough with this friendship bonus thing we might even see 3 man Regice.

It's a local minimum - I'm sure than my squad, another like it, and then 4 auto-select could do it. I'm thinking about the local meta, where I'm one of the stronger ones in terms of fighting-types, since there's no fighting legendaries currently available.

Good luck, nice to have another 3 trainer that raid with you frequently to be prepared for quad.
In my group where i raid often, many just don want to do it, even when the stronger player tried to shortman it ,i use whatsapp to inform and no one reply. Then one strong trainer said he will do it with 2 acc also, so 4 acc then. Suddenly some trainers come to the location because me and him go to that gym.
So i just try my luck in raiding in another area. Luckily i can quad it 2 times with other trainers willing to do quad. So pretty much first time raid with em. But it is fun indeed.
