Can I get a berry that does 1 of the following?
A. Turns 5 fast TM into 1 charge TM
B. Turns 50 revives into 1 charge TM
C. Turns 50 max potions into 1 charge TM
I would take any of those and use it 3 or 4 times immediatly.

Depending on where you live and your availability during the day, finding a raid boss that you can beat is the hard part of that statement, it doesn't matter how powerful your pokemon are. I can solo most T3's and duo most T4's when my wife is with me but I still only average about 1-2 raids per week. I used to find raids in the evening during the week but since they changed the cutoff to 7pm that doesn't work for me leaving only weekends and even then they are few and far between in the 4 gyms that are within a reasonable driving distance, and when you do find a raid it's often a T5 with no one else around.
I did manage to do 3 raids yesterday on CD but didn't get a single TM drop. I've been raiding since they've introduced raids and have only managed to change the charge TM on 3 of my pokes (SC Gengar, Kyogre, and a HB draggy) with many more I would like to change. Conversely I've never been short on revives/potions and frequently have to toss them. So I'm all for another way to get charge TM's or at least let us pick the charge move when we do use one so I don't have to waste 5 or more of them on one poke.
Yep, exactly. I do every raid when I see one but I don't have indefinite time or resources to drive an hour to various gym areas trying to find one.
And believe me I've conserved what few I've found. I still have HB draggys, Twister Gyrados, FB Ttars, etc. I realize now these will either be outclassed or have a CD at some point so not worth a charge TM.
What I want the CTMs for are my legendaries. I can usually only manage to get 1 or 2 of each one so I would like to have one with the ideal moveset.
I think a good way to make them more available to the players who aren't in a position to raid more is to have a chance to get them with the legendary field research rewards.
I’ve won 345 legendary raids and 245 regular raids. Not an extreme number, but it is always a PITA. I’m the point-person on 75% of the legendaries. Many times having to be the d*ck saying hard start at xx:xx so I don’t have to wait 30 min plus another 20 min AND type directions there.
Y’all say RNG is too much of a factor...well, if someone that has been playing 4 months and/or someone that barely raids gets as many CTMs as me...that is 100% RNG in my book. Especially when that 4 monther gets a 100% shiny larvitar on the exclusive day...way it is now at least I can get my moves changed.
I get that some longtime players have a log jam of things they want to CTM. However, the topical player wants to fully CTM the 5+ SD Tyranitars that they got YESTERDAY.
Where I’m at: this past Friday we found a back-to-back at 6pm at an EX park. We had 7-8 level 40s in a full Thunder Kyogre lobby, then again against a HP. Few days ago we didn’t care about the rewards, we were all fishing for a shiny. Next week if that firepower amassed again we might bother to care about something other than if it was 100% or a shiny.
I've been playing since day 1 UK release. I like to raid when I can, but I've only been able to pick up my silver medals in the last couple of weeks. And yet I've never had a problem getting TMs. Getting better teams to low-man legendary raids has been a big help too - our town has enough players to raid frequently, and few enough that we know a locally minimum viable number. All of my Pokemon that I *actually* use, bar one Espeon and Machamp, have been TMed to the optimum moveset to what I use them for. It's not just about choosing the right raids and lucking out on the rewards/roll. It's about thinking about the mon you use and what you use them for, and possibly using sites like this to target your efforts. If you have 1 charge TM and a HS Machamp OR a HB Dragonite to choose between, for instance...which can wait and which can use the immediate improvement in YOUR situation?
