double candy for all eggs?

From water event description:
2km eggs will hatch Pokemon such as Totodile, Mudkip, and Corphish
-Double Candy and Stardust for every egg

So, does double candy apply to 10k and 5k eggs, too? Time for me to start hatching all my stashed 10k eggs?

Yes, I hatched a beldum from a 10k and got 51 beldum candy

double candy is nice but since we can't get anymore 10km it kinda sucks. I stop using limited use incubator once I hatch all my 5km/10km eggs. There is nothing interesting in 2km eggs besides lapras.

Why can't you get 10km eggs anymore? Sorry, I just started playing mid April so I'm still pretty clueless.

5/10km eggs will be back once the water event ends. but the extra candies and stardust will also end

Hatched a dratini before the event (more than a week before) - 32 candy.

Hatched a dratini during the event from an existing 10km egg - 32 candy. Awful luck, doubling the minimum. Also had another 10km egg saved that hatched into a Feebas for only 34 candy.
