Dragon event?

As we've all heard theres a water event going on, and likely following it, theres going to be a ground event with groudon, but I'm wondering about Rayquaza, will it be a flying event, or more hopefully, dragon event?

They said the same thing about giving an event to tyranitar, anything can happen

I dont think anything's impossible, it does seem unlikely, but could still happen

Dragon event will be right after the free XP event. And right before the free gold coins event.

Yes Dragon event has been confirmed with Bagon and Dratini spawning everywhere with shiny Rayquaza raids.

We have never gotten confirmation for an event a month before, let alone two months. It's sarcasm.

And then someone will write up the 'current' "BIG 20" tier list with all the new dragons...

We already had a dragon CD so why not. Don't expect Dratini and Bagon to be common even if it happens though, the common spawns will be Trapinch and A-Exegg.

Trapinch isnt a dragon type, if anything, it could be something like dragon raids, and dragons being more common but still rare.

That was my thinking, we had a dragon CD, there was the Alolan exeggutor, an people are already thinking that theres going to be Bagon CD, it seems plausable

It wouldn't be the first time a mon is included in an event because its last form is of the event type. Swablu could also plausibly get the same treatment, and I think it's especially likely in this case because there are so few dragons overall.

YEah, I was thinking they may do that when gen IV drops because gible, but that doesn't seem likely.

theres dratini, kingdra, bagon, trapinch, and swablu that are the dragon lines, it does seem shallow, but most of these events do only feature 2 or 3 pokemon, so it seems plausable

Indeed. I really don't believe anything would break with an event like that.

You know, with the game. People are commenting like it's impossible because they think "that means dratinis and bagons everywhere and that's game breaking". And it's true that a week of dratini and bagon everywhere is game breaking, but a dragon event doesn't necessarily mean that.

A whole weak of machop and makuhita spawning everywhere didnt break the game, nor a whole week and then some with Geodude everhwhere.
I dont think a whole week of dratini/bagon being evwhwere would break the game, as both are weak to themselves, and everyone would have them, so it may actually be more balanced than thought

I would love this if it were connected with Dialga and Palkia, but they are legendaries, ....

they could save it for gen IV

Gens 4 and 5 have a bunch of dragons. I would enjoy a dragon event if there was a variety. Bagon and dratini would be cool for a day but boring a week out
