First Ex Raid Disappointment...

I shouldn't complain I guess, since at least I got a Mewtwo.

But seriously.
13 balls, and all I get from the raid are golden razz, potions, revives, and 2 fast TMs. Not a single rare candy or charge TM despite getting 13 balls.

Then the Mewtwo I get? Non-weather boosted and stats are 11 defence, 10 HP and 10 ATK. So basically the second worst IVs possible excluding 10/10/10. With Psycho-Cut and Psychic.

I understand that I should feel happy to get my first Mewtwo, but wow - that was a major letdown. First the disappointment in no good raid rewards, followed by the disappointment of bad IVs, followed by the moveset (I think the moveset would be fine as a Psychic attacker or generalist if it was worth powering up, but as caught under 2200CP isn't very useful... Shadow Ball would have at least made it useful against future Mewtwo...)

Anyways, just venting - and hoping my next Mewtwo comes soon and is 20+ percent better.

Better luck next time. Keep up raiding on ex gyms.

Now you both have the motivation to do more EX Raids and the relief to not feel like you have to. Congratulations!

That's almost word for word how both of my Mewtwo raids went. Both of them got 10 Attack. I powered up my first one to 33 though. No regrets!

Third worst. I believe 11 hp would be the second.
2 fast tms is kinda rare. Just unlucky about the rare candies. Then again, RNG, you cant force it. Next time you get 12 rare candies and it ok.

10/10/10 perfect trash is arguably better at least from perspective of at least having some weird collection value.

I feel you. My first Mewtwo was a 77% with a 12 attack stat. But since it was my first one I lvled it to 40. On my 14th ex raid I got a 96% Boosted Mewtwo with 15atck! It just takes patience that's part of the game. I don't regret taking my 77% to lvl 40 i've battled with him almost every day he wrecks.

My first and only one is at 77% as well. Confusion and hyper beam. I haven't got any charged tm in a while

Same account I’ve gotten 19 invites, been to 13 of them since I’ve only bothered to take off work one afternoon.

Meh. I'm a couple mil away from level 40. I have no ex eligible gyms near me. I've driven out of my way to raid at ex gyms on community day a few times. No ex passes.

I know you mention over and over that you shouldn't complain because you got your Mewtwo. So I can't begrudge you for that. But complaining about not getting any rare candy or charge TMs? That stuff grows on trees relative to Mewtwos. Some raids yield a ton of rewards, some come up snake eyes. No biggie. It all evens out over time.

But for cryin' out loud, EX gyms need to be more abundant. It's cool if you live near one. I know people who have a small army of Mewtwo. But for those of us that don't live anywhere near an EX eligible gym, but still grind away regardless, it would be fantastic if there was some alternate way to get Mewtwo.

I think I hate Sprint now. lol

I'll get one someday. I'll venture out to another spot where EX gyms are around and we raid 60 - 100 people at a time again this coming community day. And maybe this time will be when I finally get the stupid thing.
