Too many TMs?

Okay, i know this is not everyone's problem. And i'm sorry because i know PoGo life is difficult for rural players...
But the truth is that for urban players that can raid an average of 10 times a week it comes the time when you have too many TMs.
It may also happen with Rare Candy and Golden Razzberries but we can have clearer uses for those.
Anyway, the question is, what to do with the TMs!? I don't want to throw them out! is not like they've come for free!
Does anyone have an idea, or a list of moves that are a definitely must have, or endangered of becoming legacy, or i don't know, whatever reason you can come up to use TMs!?
Help appreciate it. :)

I’ve just spent a decent amount of TMs upgrading movesets for my defensive mons like snorlax, rhydon, blissey and so on. If all your attackers have best movesets, try to fix your defenders!

You can also play around with mew movesets, try to find the one you really want, that can be fun.

There’s a way to spend some TMs by turning your Rays from dragons to flyers, just for hitmon-family raids. Sunce Rays shine both as dragons and flyers right now.

Hope I was able to help!

I like to have a few so that I can swap things around. Gardevoir with Dazzling Gleam is great, but some foes (like Lati@s) resist psychic, so Confusion gets replaced with Charge Beam. Once the Eon twins are gone, back to Confusion. And so forth.

Don’t Latitwins resist Electric moves? If so, why to change Confusion - it is a higher DPS move and benefits from STAB. Once they’re going to resist, at least take advantage of other feats, I’d say.

Since both fast moves are resisted, DG is the main damage dealer.
Charge Beam has higher EPS, so it charges DG faster and allows Garde to get off more DGs.

You can burn a lot of TMs on Mew trying to get your favorite moveset. A lot of my friends have burned over 30 Fast TM's trying to get Shadow Claw. It only took me 2, so I may have to trash some fast TM's.

Took me 17 FTMs to get Shadow Claw, probably pretty average endeavor

I got Rock Smash / Wild Charge while burning TMs for SC/IB and held to it for a while. It gives me almost everything I need for gym cleaning! Resists psychic, meh DG, kicks Normal ass with SE fast move and high-DPS charge move, and then it destroys all common water and flying things in gyms. Yeah, it takes a bit of timing the charge moves not to waste it on the usual normal fat mons that are always first to defeat, but I lkind of enjoy thinking a bit during the battle to be efficient :)

I’ve considered tossing a few fast TMs, but I certainly don’t think I have to many charge TMs.

Still no good answers here imo. I was about to ask the same question. I „fixed“ all Legendary that i keep (even if i don‘t power them atm, like my 3rd Kyogre, Raikou ...), fixed my non legendary Potential Attackers and Defenders that may become usefull - still have plenty

There isn't any magical answer or secret strat on what to do with them. Once all your mons have the correct movesets and you have a comfortable buffer for the future (something like 20 fast, 40 charge), the rest is just excess that you can either create some meaningless use for or just trash. I'm nowhere near that point but I know people who trash them.

Well, I use TMs on my Exeggutor between Bullet Seed and Extrasensory. When I do Machamp solos, I change it to Extrasensory. When Rock/Water folks come, I will TM it to Bullet Seed.

I have a huge roster of attackers to maintain thanks to challenge solos and that has eaten a lot of TMs. Spent more than a few on defenders as well. Mew has eaten a few and changing the same mons (mostly Mewtwo) back and forth has also consumed its fair share.

I think you have to raid pretty extreme amounts to end up having too many because honestly with 300+450 raids completed I've never even gotten close to that point. And for CTMs too many is very large number since you can go through 10 in an instant without getting what you wanted.

I dont see any problem here. If u dont know what to do than toss them.

There is no trade option. So at the end of the day a fast TM is as useless as a berry

If you think tossing FTMs is too wasteful, just keep using them on the same mon over and over again, if it makes you feel better. But don't use it on a legacy move!

Thank you all for the answers, they're really appreciated.
I'm still at the same point. I already have almost perfect teams for every current and (possibly) future raids. And very decent amount of great defenders. So, nothing to change, nothing to optimize, no use for the TMs...
