Is it possible to hatch Region-specific Pokémon?

Hello community! One little question: Is it possible to hatch Region-specific Pokémon?

My Pokedex is almost full, only those few (and the new Baby Pok) are missing...

Nope, unless the egg comes from that region

Niantic never confirmed or denied... But, since July, I haven't heard of a single player hatching a regional pokemon from an egg of a different region.

So, safe to assume that you have to travel to that region to get the mon.

Actually Niantic confirmed in an interview that the only way to get region exclusives a part from catching them is from eggs that came from that specific region ;)

I haven't hatched one from my region, either (Tauros). I double-checked the egg list, and that is the only thing I have never hatched from any type of egg. Has anyone?

I hatched a Mr. Mime 2 days before they announced the increase in region specific spawns...felt cheated ?

My second 10km egg was mr Mime, I was sooo happy to get him, then they start appearing like crazy all over my town, I am at 280 mr Mime candies now and got like 30 saved in case some day trading comes out.

No tauros after 1100 eggs. See them all the time. I think I remember Ey3con saying he hatched a couple.

If anyone from another region wants to come to he UK and collect all the Mr Mimes please feel free. I won't miss them at all. If we were to have a Pokemon extinction I think they'd be top of my list...
