Guess I'll have to wait to get a 90+% one until...sometime in the distant future. Seriously sometimes this game really pushes my buttons.

Literally the only person I've heard so far who is unhappy that Moltres won't be the field research reward for the 5th straight week.

If you already have a good one, more power to you. I guess all those people you talked to got lucky.

This was a mildly exciting opportunity to get a good-IV version of a Pokemon I've wanted for while and the RNG whiffed for me every time. I couldn't care less about Zapdos or Articuno, so these next two months are kind of a waste for me.

My friend group has all under 89% except for one, they were just glad that it's not nothing but Moltres and Latios for the rest of eternity

What’s the big deal? 80% isn’t much different from 90%.

Understandable. Sometimes this game punish us not giving us the good IV version of our most desired pokemon. I have been there in the past and it's frustrating. Let it go and enjoy what you have.

Moltres was here quite a while last summer and even back then could be beat with 3. Fine with me it is flying away.

Don't worry he'll back in the raid rotation just like Lugia. Probably within the year with a shiny variant in tow.

That's fine and all, and probably true, but having a limited number of legendary encounters that all end up being trash feels worse than if it hadn't been released at all.

Makes me wonder why I still play this game when this is literally all Niantic ever does, lol.

I got two 80s and one 84. I'll probably next power it up but happy to have one more of my Pokedex.

Don't worry. Since we all get 4-5 shots at each Research Reward Legendary, we will all have that one where we just can't land good IV versions.

Thankfully, my Moltres is 98% with weak HP.

You had one more chance.

If we just caught one today and start the new research tomorrow, well the next one he a molress or the new one coming?

Same here. Caught 12 in raids. Highest was an 84iv. All the ones with the field tasks were lower

I already had a 100% Moltres, got another one on my third research breakthrough.

Moving on to Zapdos is okay, but I am really hoping we see Articuno in June. I only caught two Articuno when they were raid bosses and the better of the two was only 78%.

Good news for you is that Moltres isn't that necessary of a pokemon. We'll see in less than a month how good Blast Burn Charizard ends up being and even if it doesn't obsolete Moltres by having the same DPS for no rare candy cost, gen 4 brings Magmortar, which has very good stats for a nonlegendary, and Heatran, which will in all likelihood far outclass other fire types if its movesets aren't shit. And the same will happen again in gen 5 with Reshiram.

Also change is good. 4 weeks of Moltres is incredibly boring and I'm not looking forward to 4 weeks of Zapdos. Would personally prefer a weekly rotation or randomization so that it'd be a surprise what we're getting.

Mine were all under 82%. The candy I got out of them was nice though (caught all 4 of them with a pinap berry), since I plan to take one to 40 or two to 35 (1x 91%, 1x 89%) depending on my luck with Charmander during the next Community Day

Sorry about your luck. I felt the pain for some time myself. I raid a lot, and have since they first rolled them out. I finally got my 1st Moltres above 90% on the 3rd week. It was the only legendary I didn't have above 90% I had two 89's, and the rest I'd transferred. I like that they're keeping a legendary for a month on the field research.
