Do you think Latios deserves dust and candies?
Rayquaza, Salamence and Dragonite are just better because of the DPS/ TDO, still Latios has very good DPS on his own, just lower than those 3, and the way better dodging ability, I mean, if you have a good ivs Rayquaza, would you prefer invest on it than Latios? (assuming you already have one maxed Rayquaza).
Pd: Latias is underwhelming in every aspect š

Iām going to max my best Latios as soon as the switch happens. I wonāt have to use candies because Iāve raided a lot and have so far been pretty lucky with the catch rate. So for me, itās just a matter of dust.
Iām looking forward to the DB/DC moveset, which I was never able to get on a Dragonite. And I always liked Latios from the main games.
I probably wouldn't use Rare Candies on my Latios, but I've got a 98% Latios that I'm powering up every time I catch another Latios. I might use a few Rare Candies on Latios if I still have Latios candies left when Latios leaves, and I want that last power up, but other than that, once Latios is gone, I'm done powering it up.
So Stardust: Yes, Rare Candies: No.
I think its viable to go either way (powering up or not) with Latios. It kind of depends on how good of one you catch and how many other dragon types you have powered up. I've been funneling all of my Latios candies onto the 13 HP 15 Att 15 Def Latios I have. I'm gonna use rare candies on MewTwo, Groudon, and Kyogre first, after that I'll decide. I'm level 40 but only a moderate raider. The only two legendary I've maxed out so far are Raikou and Rayquaza. Don't have far to go on MewTwo though.
I would say that using RC on a Latios isn't a good idea because Rayquaza is straight-up better no matter what IV. That said I am going to power up a Latios provided I catch one with good enough IVs, simply because I'd like it for clearing gyms. I run a Rayquaza in my gym team currently and I'd like to replace it with a mon that won't so frequently waste energy on overkills and has easier time dodging.
That's slower than launching a DC would be and ends up wasting energy a decent amount of the time because those DTs generate more of it. But like I said, I don't think the Latios is a good investment, it's just personal preference that I want one. It's not the first and won't be the last time I make unoptimal decisions in this game.
