When dose it end?

I want to finish the special research but am wondering if I'll have time, I'm on 6 of 8 with 2 done working on the 10 raids with 2 more to go. what are my chances of getting it done before it ends?

Not 100% sure but I believe it won't end. Meaning you will have until forever to catch Mew and you'll just start the next special research once you finish the current one.

If there is one afterwards. Those of us who have completed the quest chain just have a message that says "More research requests will be coming soon" in our Special Research list. Just means that the next special quest isn't available yet.

There is no end to the special research. Only deadline is if you want to catch it tomorrow with +3 candy.

I don’t have Mew yet, what do people see for special research when they already have Mew?

Widely assumed everybody could (should) pinap Mew and Moltres. However, I didn't pinap Mew bc it was early in the process and my AR catch screen malfunctioned making me unable to use a berry of any kind.

When playing on this phone I've never been able to use AR--sometimes I play on wife's iphone and AR works on that. Catching it without the AR was very awkward, even more so since not knowing berries were unavailable for everyone.

The task is to *battle* 10 raids, not win them. You can complete them within a day by entering a private battle and deliberately waiting for it to time out.

As for your question, it shouldn't end. Niantic will not want to give new or casual players the shaft.

They patched this loophole. Now you need to engage in 10 separate raids (win or time-out) to fulfill the requirement.

That's what I meant, waiting the three minutes for the raid to time-out before re-entering.

I completed that task on Sunday.

I just finished it today. Once your raids and done and makicarp evolved stages 7 and 8 are easy. When I got to 8 all three were already completed, I don't even know what they were.
