Onix Solo Raid Guide

I can't wait to find one of these and try it. I found a Kabutops today and it was easy.

Pokebattler says I should use Vensusar VW/SB (95% lvl 37.5), Vensusar VW/FP (93% lvl 27.5), Sceptile BS/LB (100% lvl31), Groudon MS/SB x 2 (levels 25 and 22.5) and Kygore WF/HP (91% lvl 21). It gives me around 67% chance to win with my top 4 having time to wins <180 seconds. It's true that my two best Vaporeon (both level 35.5) only rank #7 and #10 on my list with time to win in the 195-200 second range, so they would not be very useful in this raid. I probably need to power up my legendaries to improve my chances.

I fought one today but did it with the wife so didn't try to solo. I didn't look at the clock when we finished but my 1st poke, wf/hp Gyrados was still alive when we beat him and I didn't dodge once. So I would think Vapy would be viable against the heavy slam moveset especially.

Bad wording on my part. The point meant to be conveyed was that a stiff breeze hits harder than Onix.

Vaporeon is not viable in neutral weather at level 40.

I maneged just to make it with two maxed out 15 attack water move Gyrados.

The Onixs charge move were sand "tomb" or what it's called.
