Blaziken with fighting moveset worth stardust/candies to power up from L20?

I have a L13 100% Blaziken, which I decided to not power up soon. Unfortunately Focus blast is holding its huge attack stat back a little, thus making Machamp the better option. One advantage it carries is its fire typing though. Despite of having less bulk overall than Machamp, its resistance vs Heavy Slam and neutral damage Dazzling Gleam can kinda make up for this, so Blaziken requires less potions for almost the same results.
You should maybe run some sims to see if it gives you an advantage in battle time vs the big 3 normal types.

I evolved 2 and both had FS/O so I'm using him as a fire attacker.
Maybe one day he will get High Jump Kick (would make a good Community Day!) But for now his only purpose for me is to fight Pinsir.

I have a 100% at 30, double fight. It helps me ascertain if a Tyranitar has fire blast...but then I usually change it with 30 seconds left on the lobby clock

Evolved a wild L35 Torchic and got double Fire. It's putting in good work with FS/OH. I think both Machamp and Hariyama are better Fighting options, but if you like Blaziken, go for it!

When Mega forms come around, Blaziken has a mega form, like Gyarados. Not sure how the mechanics will work for all that, but having a strong Blaziken could be a very good thing.

I powered one up to 36 for variety. I’ll use him to battle normal types in gyms and TTars even though I have 6 L35+ machamps.

Torchic is one of the best candidates for a CD exclusive move. High jump kick?

I actually like him for fighting, as it resists steel moves (snorlax) and takes less damage from fairy moves.

Basically it's nice for saving potions/etc.

A fire moveset is nice too.

I have a 91% powered up to Lvl 30 with the Fire type moves since I was always poorer at Fire type than Fighting type (lucked out on a Machop nest 2 weeks into the game).

But now I'm also thinking about the double fighting set. I like options, and Blaziken can be better than Machamp in certain situations. I have evolved my 98% (HP is the 14) but have only actually powered it up to Lvl 23, as I've been focusing on a 98% Gengar and a 98% Moltres (need that fire!).
