What happens if you cross a time zone during community day?

I live very close to the cut between Eastern and Central U.S. time zones. If I crossed into Central during it, do I get an extra hour?

Nope, you can even change it to Japanese time zone and you still get the same hours.

If one were to beam over to Japan, then would it be the same hours?

My guess is that the community day time constraints are GPS coordinated, so if you crossed over into a different time zone you could get an extra hour.

I don't know for sure though. It's an interesting question.

@333-blue Changing to Japan time isn't the same as playing for at least an hour in Eastern time zone then driving 10 minutes to Central time zone where it's an hour earlier. Japan time wouldn't be in the same window where both time zones are in Community Day at the same time. Can you provide source info that it wouldn't work? Not doubting it doesn't work that way but want to be sure.

If you'll cross this time zone nothing should happen. But if you spend CD in Japan and fly to US you should be able to participate it again.
Whole word splitted in a few CD's time zones.
