Is Blizzard worth it for Kyogre?

I only have one Kyogre, around level 35. Thoughts towards whether it's worth keeping Blizzard as its charge attack? The reason would be that Kyogre is my only legendary with an ice attack for raids, and I really don't need more than my maxed Gyarados and Vaporeons for gyms. So, without STAB is it still worth it?

The next Field Research Breakthrough boss may be Articuno and the next generation will feature Mamoswine.

Costs to boosts the L15 are tough. I think they are going to be for candy.

It is a decent Ice attacker, but without Dragon Tail Kyogre just won't cut it for dragons.

Ya... that's really what I was going for. I always felt a little bit like dead weight against dragons with Waterfall and its EPS, and wasn't sure if Blizzard made up for it or not.

Are you into Tier 3 solos? If so, Kyogre with Hydropump can be a game changer. Blizzard just doesn't pair well with Waterfall. If Kyogre would have gotten Dragon Tail, it would be different.

Yup. Unfortunately, it's pretty much all solo raids unless I get lucky and there just happen to be people there. Might be enough to give it my next charge TM.

I've got only one Kyogre, and it too has Blizzard. I have to say, the lack of synergy with Waterfall sucks. It's a decent combo against ground-types and Aerodactyl, and even then, there are better options. I'm tempted to TM it, but its a 69IV and I've only got 5 CTMs, so I'm just going to persevere for the time being.

That's a drag - reminds me of my only Zapdos. 10/12/10 ads. Not powered up. Hope Zappy or Articuno come after Moltres.

Also note, it's possible that the next Research Breakthrough pokemon could be a non-legendary, like Snorlax, or Lapras, etc., and that they just started with Moltres to begin with a bang. Hope not; we'll find out next week.

Man Blizzard is Good but for Kyogre...
IMO He is a Type B Ice Attacker due to non-STAB type. Although He has High Attack Based but STAB with also play with ICE STAB mons...
