Ditto apparently rarest pokemon of all now?

It's meant to be a challenge. I just remember grinding pidgeys for experience, and occasionally one would be hard to catch despite not having a high CP, catching it, and watching it turn into a ditto, and losing the 3+1 pidgey candies I was hoping to get from it.

They will be around. Remember that Ditto can be Pidgey, Rattata, Hoot-Hoot, Sentret, and I think Whizmer, maybe a few more. Help me out here, PoGOers. Let's put together a list to make this easier (and never mind the Field Quest to catch 10 dittos).

My pokedex says I’ve caught 106, so if I haven’t caught one in 4.5 days I’ll consider it rare(r)

Just caught two within couple of mins. Unfortunately, I have not reached the level needing one .

Not really. I caught two yesterday.

Living in an area full of commons seems to be useful now. Caught a ditto last night. And 2 ghosts. Need 8 more.

4hrs today and none, 2 hrs yesterday and 3 (wasn't up to them yet though). Grrrrrr

I feared that quest as well, but I've caught four in two days.

One was just before I reached the quest, then I found another two whilst doing that one. And today I helped a fellow player look for a Ditto because he had just reached that quest and I found another one.
