Std Pokeball by default

Hello, since the last update with some interface changes, the ball is again using the standard pokeballs by default... did they really take out the game "memory" of keeping the last used type of ball? My problem with it is that I prefer to hoard pokeballs for the go+ and then do manual catches only with great balls or ultra balls (you know, if I GRB or pineap a mon to increase catch chances). Is this happening to you too?

I like this change, cause many times i wasted Ultras od Great to catch Whismur, Pidgey or other worthless mons close after catching some valuable things.

You are using the toilet seat argument.

Happened with me as well after the update.

I am in preference of the "ball memory" as well. I acquire far too many Great Balls across the work week, that I use them exclusively on weekend roams. The "memory" is great, because it literally saves me from having to change ball at every mon, or constantly binning my regular Poke Balls after every spin.

It’s a huge nerf toncatchijg efficiency. My catching session went from 90+ per 30 mins down to 80 per 30 mins. Switching balls every single throw sucks.

I'm super glad this has reverted. By and large, only Go+ users found this "feature" useful, and I have to imagine they are in the minority of players.

I'm not opposed to this being a toggle, however, if it's handy for some.

This is so wrong. It is highly efficient to use only great+ balls during star pieces/lucky eggs at great spawn areas (or community days).

Using red balls and go+ will get you a catch rate of less than 40% due to weather boosting. Using red balls and hand catch will increase your cluster spawn clear time by 1.5-2x, again due to weather boosting.

Good thing my guy wears gloves, with even Pokeballs carrying STDs these days. Wait, gloves will keep us safe, right? Or should we look into some heavier investment alternatives?
