All shiny magikarp turn into ditto.

I think something like Snorlax being as common as pidgey, with all but 5% turning into ditto will be funny but also sustainable (you get a Snorlax for 1 in 20 catches but it's also not game breaking or too much rage)

Quests are out, complete all to encounter the Legendary/Mythical Pokemon........

Super rare Pokemon start spawning everywhere, are all perfect IVs, have higher than normal catch rates, and all get automatically transferred. 😋

Every Pokemon has a 0% catch rate and a 0% flee rate.

Or the usual things that get Harry, Mr Ex et al to completely lose their knickers: major game changes. Gym rework, replace good moves with shitty ones, nerfing good 'mons etc.
Just imagine the collective howl that'd come from "you can now only have one of each species per battle party" or similar.
