How's the Eggstravaganza Event going for everyone, so far?
Hey, everyone! Just wondering how the event is going for everyone, so far. Have you hatched anything interesting from 2km eggs? How's your stardust and candy collection looking like right now? Made any new friends? Community Day also counts, too, so feel free to post anything related to that, as well. :-)
Sadly, I can no longer play for a while since my device is no longer supported. Haven't played since the update rolled in, except on Friday when I borrowed my friend's phone to do my EX Raid, but that's about it. I got a 2km egg from spinning the gym stop after the raid, so maybe in the future I'll find out what Pokémon it is when I get a better phone lol. Hopefully, a perfect Larvitar.

I think both the Equinox event and the recent egg event were great. Lots of 10 km eggs and a lot of useful rare Pokemons. Last fall a lot of Porygons, Snorlaxes, Lapras’ and Larvitars, andnow I managed to evolve both Salamence and Gardevoir thanks to the event.
The current egg event sucks (I don’t care too much about shinies). Best thing is the boxes so I can stack up on super incubators for coming 10 km eggs.
I so far have hatched 6 or 7 2km eggs from the event (don‘t have incubators and can‘t get around that much), but today during the community event, I hatched 2 Feebas, one of them even 87-89%, which were my first two hatched Feebas so far. But the candy given per hatch seems a bit odd to me, as I hatched a Swablu just now, but only got 10 candy (is the normal minimum for a hatch 5 candy?)
Prior to the event, almost every 10km egg I managed to get and hatch were mostly Feebas, so I was able to stack up enough candy to bring my Milotic to lvl 30.
As for those 10 candies, I think the normal number of candies you would get without double candy would be five. So, with double candy, it's going to be 10. Pokémon usually hatched from 2km eggs don't usually give out a lot of candy.
I've hatched a perfect Beldum and three Ralts from the 2k's, so the event could end tomorrow and I'd be satisfied. I'm not so bothered by shinies; since they add nothing extra to in-battle performance I'm not really pressing myself too hard to hatch a million eggs so I can hatch a shiny, what, Magby? Togepi?
I'm really just most happy about the fact that we get 10 days without those insufferable 5k eggs. Oh, and I ended up caving in and buying the Ultra box, and hatched the 7x10k eggs I had lined up from the windy egg event and the days between that and this event with a star piece on and finally broke 1m stardust during Community Day today! All in all, a great few days for me in the PoGo universe.
Note: my positivity right now may be reflective of the fact that I'm a bit drunk. On a Sunday evening. With work at 8.30a tomorrow.
I've hatched Tyrogue, Cleffa, Swablu, Spheal, and Scyther. I won't be using any paid incubators on these eggs. I did manage to hatch a Bagon from an old egg for double candy. My biggest regret so far is that I accidentally hatched 3 10k eggs 5 minutes before the event started: Bagon, Bagon, Beldum. So many wasted candies.....
Hatched a Wynaut to complete my regional dex which is all I wanted, so I'd say 10/10 perfect event. Also got a decent haul of candy from my 7 saved 10k eggs.
The real focus of this event to me is double stardust, the eggs are just a bonus. Not expecting to hatch anything nice but if I do, good. Going to be doing a lot of grinding with star piece on, maybe even try to reach the catch limit since it's one of the achievements in this game that I'm still missing.
It's going well for me so far. I haven't got any shiny from eggs so far, so that's not great. But they seem to be quite rare, so I'm not that surprised.
I did hatch a good Chansey (93% IV). I also had a few 10km eggs that hatched when the event started where I got a 96%IV Feebas and using a Star piece I got over 50.000 stardust, which was nice.
I spent the Community Day at a big mall with hundreds of other players, so that was fun. Caught loads of Bulbasaur (got over 1000 candies during the event), 13 of which was shiny and one had 100% IV.
Having reached lvl 40 during the last double XP event I saved most of my Lucky eggs. Still got like 300k.
Also used some Star pieces, so I've reached my goal of having 6 million stardust. I'm thinking of using some to power up the perfect shiny Venosaur, but might wait until I have more dust, because I want to bring the Venosaur up to lvl40, but at the same time I don't want to go under 6 million.
After the Community Day I stayed awhile and did three Lugia raids, one of which got me my fourth shiny Lugia.
I'm so freaking tired at the moment, but it was all well worth it.
I said it after the last Community Day and I'll say it again: I really like this event.
It's intense, but alot of fun. And I get to meet loads of other players.
A bit underwhelmed really. Hatched 22 eggs so far, of which one was a dratini, one a beldum (both IV<76), other than that it's mostly been rubbish that comes from 2km eggs anyway. Only notable exception would be a Mareep, since they do hatch from 10km eggs, but they're bloody useless anyway, aside from the fact that I already had 560-ish candy.
Still hoping for something actually useful, but not holding my breath on it.
