Ever camped a gym so hard that even the spoofers gave up?

Yesterday, since the weather wasn't as harsh as a few days ago, I went for a walk. I spot this dude anaboliss in several gyms but he did not have a full 8h, more like 7h and 30 minutes, in either. So I go take a gym where only he was holding, as in the others there were other players with fewer hours too.

I put a snowy castform and feed it, then look around for catchable pokemon. My gym is under attack. Nobody around anywhere near the gym. A wild mataberdebu appears in the gym. I kick "her" out. Put in my Lickitung. It gets kicked out and mataberdebu gets in again. I kick her out again. Few minutes later, some dude who I don't know if he's a player or not arrives in the area and swears at his phone, puts it in his pocket, and leaves.

I look at my gym, it's being attacked again. A wild anaboliss appears again. Puts Blissey in. I kick it out and stay there for a few minutes. Meanwhile I put a bunch of sticks and write my nickname in the snow next to them, on a bench. Even took a selfie in the area (though I don't like selfies but in case they ironically accuse me of spoofing, I can show that to our group).

They quit trying to take over and I got to keep the gym even at this moment plus another one I took from them near that one because it had a whole day of stagnation. Unfortunately 2 suspects of spoofing of my team slotted themselves right in after me... can't do crap about those. But I'll keep an eye out for when they slot in, as one of them has a Torkoal.
