What is the uses of a shiny Lugia?
Exactly as it states, what is use of a shiny Lugia if we can not place It in the gym. Any one has an idea?

Same as non-shiny...I don't get the hype about shinys if they are given to everyone...it's nothing special anymore to have a shiny pickachu or dratini, luvdisc and so on...the only specials are magikarp and the ghosts if I remember correctly. The use of Lugia is still a assurance to solo machamp easily and if you don't to waste revives it's the best tank in the game that deals at least a little damage now more than ever.
I'd argue that Lugia is one of the best pokemon in the game, because unlike several other legendaries, it has great moves. Personally, I want at least two powered up (already have one at L34 with FS, want one with SA), and if my choice is a 13/10/10 shiny with SA, and a 15/12/13 non-shiny with the same moveset, I will prioritize the shiny. If the 13A means I have to power it up one or two extra times to hit the same breakpoints, so be it. Beyond that, there is no practical difference.
We all have our priorities, and I'm not trying to tell anyone how to play, but a 13/10/10 Lugia is far from useless, and if that were my best/only shiny, it would get plenty of use.
See? You want two. I only want the one I already have, because I barely use mine as it is as it has not much use in my play style (I'm not potion/revive starved, so clearing gyms/raids faster is more my kind of thing). I'd say it can see some use in Machamp raids but I can easily solo Machamp without it, which I couldn't at the time I had it powered up. Then again, I don't do Machamp raids anymore as I have 6 maxed out ones.
Ofcourse, I should have stated that it is useless FOR ME.
