10 km eggs definitely more common

people make assumptions based on their own experience. "yesterday i saw five people wearing a hat - seems like more people wear hat nowadays"

I was quite surprised to find 2 out of 3 new eggs to be 10km ones today. Small sample size so it says nothing, but I was quite happy nonetheless.

I used to find one 10km egg every 2-3 months and now I have 8 (all from last 2 weeks) wainting to hatch (waiting for some special boxes with super incubators tought)

I wonder whether the perceived increase in 10k egg frequency simply has to do with cycling through more eggs during an event.

When it isn't an event, I usually only incubate a pair of eggs at a time. During this event, I started to incubate a baseline of three (and more than that if I had more than two 10k's).

I've hatched 2 sets of nine this week. I agree, it's been a lot more common for me. I've never been able to do that before. I didn't see many people wearing hats but thanks for that data too, I'll watch for that.

I agree that there has been an increase, which I think started just before the recent double XP event.
However, I have hatched several eggs in the last couple of days and I would say that the 10 km egg drop rate has decreased to its normal levels as I have not received any.

Yes this is definitely new, and true, that 10K eggs are dropping much more frequently! (Despite what the more negative posters here may assert...). Three others I play with state the same thing.

I just mass-hatched nine 10K eggs, and re-stocking with 7 new 10K eggs came surprisingly fast!
Now if I can just stop hatching so many damn Trapinchs! ;-/
