ShadowBall Alakazam
Caught a perfect level 29 abra recently and immediately evolved it. It has Psyco Cut/Shadow ball as its moveset. Is there any use for this or should I TM to Future sight?

not sure why it was downvoted.
alakazam with future sight is very good, enough so to keep it usable due to mewtwo getting the underwhelming psychic.
but shadowball mewtwo versus alakazam mewtwo is a no brainer. (assuming you have a mewtwo.)
Gardevoir is more debatable due to it's much lower attack but is still I think a more effective mon due to it's significantly greater durability.
You could use him as a psychic-type counter.
Things to consider:
1) the quality of your existing psychic-type attackers, and whether this 'zam would be a worthwhile addition to that pool.
2) the number of CTMs you have, as you run the risk of getting Focus Blast.
3) the quality of your psychic-type counters.
4) whether you have other FS-wielding 'zams at a higher level. Powering this guy up is going to cost you.
