March's Community Day

Similiar to the February event except Dratini becomes Bulbasaur, triple XP instead of stardust. This is good news because I can stay home. I don't need XP. Bulbasuar is not the friendlest starter to catch. Venusaur is... hm. What do you think?

Charmander is (anecdotally) worse to catch as a starter...but yes bulbasaur is a bit bad too.

I will get the shiny and male form venusaur (all my 4 venus are coincidentally female)

A 100% will be nice and if I get that (legit or tracker), I will be done for the event

I hope to find a male one and a pair of shinys but would be glad with even one shiny.

Venusaur is the best starter we have, and arguably one of best grass pokemon with Sceptile and eggs. Depending on community move Venusaur can be the very best with grass knot, power whip, frenzy plant, despite having low attack

I am buzzing about it. Last even was fun, so I'll do my best to play the entire next event as well. I don't really play the game anymore, but these 3 hours I am looking forward to next month.

Catch rate and XP bonus, I don't really care for.

What I am interested in, is potential shiny (unconfirmed), chance at 100 IV, and a limited edition move. Venusaur being an iconic Gen 1 Pokemon, holds special notalgic value for me.

Sadly, I have to work that day and can't request two scheduled weekend days off in a row (had to do it for Feb. 24 already, but I couldn't miss out on the dratini event!) But missing bulbasaur doesn't hurt nearly as much as dratini would have. I hope to have reached 40 by then and won't need triple XP ever again!

That said, I'll stick my phone in one pocket, my Plus in another during those 3 hours and take me a nice, long break - hoping to catch a shiny despite the odds!

I have a 2348CP 100% Venusaur with vine whip and solar beam already, so it isn't the most exciting one to catch for me. It would still be cool to get a shiny and/or to evolve a possible new best moveset.

I already hatched a perfect Bulbasaur three weeks ago. Regret evolving her immediately. XP is not as important as stardust to me.
