100 IV ray ran away 😭

Had a 96 IV weather boosted Ky run from me after the community day event ended. Still kind of mad bc I still don’t have any great ones :(

Just kidding friendo. At least you have a 98 boosted though - Ray isn't even gone yet! Now may be a time to focus on grou and kyogre till they're gone (unless you have a 98 of them lying around as well)

I'm convinced it's pure RNG that determines catches. I saw someone land 10 excellent curveballs on a 100% Rayquaza and it still ran away while my friend who is a terrible thrower caught a 100% on his second throw, which was straight with no throwing bonus. I guess it's to keep the extreme casuals from rage quitting and the hardcores from just collecting all the legendaries that they want.

My best legendary is a 93% Rayquaza, so I hope to catch a 100% some day!

Know that feel.... had a 2328 kygore ran away once, definitely the saddest moment for me in this game.

BTW having over 80 Ray raids and never seen one 96iv or above...
